Rights

Access is not ownership.

The archive protects its subjects, collaborators, images, films, writing, sound, and editorial context.

Copyright and use

Unless a record states otherwise, the films, images, writing, design, and sound published by Back of the Bent may not be reproduced, republished, altered, trained on, licensed, sold, or used commercially without written permission from the appropriate rights holder.

Licensing

Licensing requests should identify the specific record, intended use, territory, term, media, audience, and whether edits or excerpts are requested.

Subjects and privacy

Publication does not waive a subject’s independent rights. Requests involving identity, privacy, or safety are reviewed with the underlying agreements and record.

Trademark posture

Back of the Bent, B.O.B., Motion That Matters, and associated marks are used as brand identifiers. No registration symbol is used in this build.
